After School Sports
After-school sports is open to 4th and 5th grade. Students are chosen based on academics and behavior in classroom. The students sign up and get permission for each sport.
Gardening Club

Geo Bee
Whether your child is deeply interested in Geography or is just curious to learn more about the world, the Faria Geo Bee is a great opportunity for them to advance their geographic awareness.
Jogging Program
Jogging club is a highly popular year-long noon-time activity, and students participate in it after they finish their lunch. This is open to grades 1-5. It generally starts in the beginning of October and ideally runs 3 days a week (MWF), but may be fewer depending on volunteer availability.
Math Club
Math Club has sessions (one in fall, and one in spring). The fall Math Club sessions begins in October. They have two separate classes, one for 4th graders and one for 5th graders. Math Club will be on Tuesdays from 7:30-8:15 a.m.

School Arts Program
The schoolwide art program is run by Art house kids. They take care of teaching, Materials and Spring Art Show for K-5.
Science Enrichment

Science Night
FEEF hosts Faria Science Night every year. This event is open to all students of Faria Elementary School. The event is generally coordinated by Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose. The approx cost is about $1200.
Spelling Bee
Faria Spelling Bee is generally held for 4th and 5th grade students in the Faria GLC. The top scoring 30 students in the written round advance to Faria’s Annual Spelling Bee Oral Round. All Faria students and families are welcome.
